| Salary: | $4,276 - $6,086 per month (SR-28) Appointment will be made at that step in the salary range at which qualified applicants can be recruited. |
| Duties Summary: | Provides administarative, technical and responsible professional engineering direction over a variety of complex engineering programs and/or projects of a major engineering division; supervises the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, estimates and reports; and performs other related duties as required. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Graduation from an accredited collage or university with major work in civil engineering and two (2) years of civil engineering experience as a registered professional enginer which shall have included responsibility for supervising civil engineering projects.

| Knowledge and Ability: |
Civil engineering principles and practices; modern methods and practices used in the prepatration of plans and specifications, estimates and reports; the source of engineering informations; surveying and construction practices; public works programs and financing; land conveyance and the preparation of contacts; principles and practices of administation; the ability to plan, organize and direct the work of a large number of engineering and technical employees; develop major engineering work programs; prepare and justify budget requests; prepare administrative as well as engineering reports and correspondence. |
